How to use Essential Oils: Beginner's Guide

Here are some Essential Oil tips for beginners:

1. Essential Oils are easily absorbed into the skin. Some oils are known to be hot, so be sure you dilute with a carrier oil first. There are many carrier oils you can use such as coconut oil, almond, jojoba or olive oil). You dont need a lot of essential oils, just a few drops is more than enough. For example, in a roller bottle, fill it up with carrier oil and add 3-5 drops of your favourite essential oil. Easy!

2. If you are in the car a lot, you may want to get a car diffuser. This car diffuser disperses an uplifting mist that moisturises the air and smells amazing. Get rid of the car freshener that is filled with chemical and opt for a car diffuser with essential oils instead. This is perfect for you and it is chemical free!

3. The best way to start using essential oils is by diffusing it. Invest in a good home diffuser. Young Living has a wide range of diffusers that will be perfect for your home. Remember, it is chemical free too!!! Just add one or two drops of your favourite essential oil to the black lava stone and they absorb and hold the oil all day. I like to use orange essential oil on my jewellery. It will lift up my mood and smells oh so refreshing.

5. Remember to use only PURE ESSENTIAL OILS. Find the scents that matches your mood and how you want to feel that day. You may need to spend more to find good quality essential oil. Desert Mist Diffuser by Young Living

When I first started my oiling journey, I bought the Premium Starter Kit and in it, I got the Dewdrop Diffuser among others. It really changed my life. If you want to start this oiling journey, Premium Starter Kit is the way to go.

The Dewdrop Diffuser is really the perfect diffuser for newbies. It is user friendly and easy enough to use. Even children can manage it. I take it everywhere with me. Even on holidays. I love the smell of essential oils in my hotel room because it makes me feel like I'm at home. My kids love it too.

If you can see from the above, the dewdrop diffuser can last up to 3-4 hours each session. After that, it will automatically be switched off. You can run it another session before having to refill the water and the essential oils. Dewdrop diffuser would last for 2 sessions, 4 hours each, that makes it a total of about 8 hours.

Desert Mist Diffuser dari Young Living

Dewdrop Mummy tahu ada ramai pengguna DewDrop Diffuser di luar sana. Dewdrop diffuser ini memang sangat baik dan user friendly, terutamanya bagi mereka yang baru ingin berjinak dengan Essential Oils.

Dewdrop Mummy (DM) pun mula dengan menggunakan Dewdrop Diffuser. Senang sahaja cara nak menggunakannya. Ianya juga senang untuk dibawa ke mana-mana kerana size-nya yang agak compact. DM memang akan bawa Dewdrop Diffuser ini ke mana saja DM pergi. Pergi bercuti pun DM akan bawa.

Dewdrop Diffuser memang satu basic diffuser yang sudah cukup baik. Settings pun senang sahaja dengan hanya sekali tekan untuk ON and OFF. Air perlu diisikan pada tahap merah dan letakkan beberapa titis essential oils. Ia akan berjalan selama lebih kurang 4 jam sebelum ianya akan dimatikan secara automatik. Selepas dimatikan, hanya perlu tekan butang ON sekali lagi. Ia akan berjalan selama 4 jam lagi. Jadi, secara keseluruhan lebih kurang dalam 8 jam sebelum kita kena isi air & minyak semula.

DM dah amalkan cara ini selama lebih dari 2 tahun dan alhamdulillah, walaupun digunakan sepanjang masa, setiap hari, ia masih berfungsi seperti biasa. Tak pernah rosak walaupun boleh dikatanya DM guna secara nonstop selama 2 tahun ini. Cara pembersihan pun amat mudah. Paling senang, isi air pada tahap merah dan letakkan Lemon Essential Oils sahaja. Ataupun boleh cuci dengan menggunakan Thieves Household Cleaner.

Oleh kerana diffuser ini sangat senang digunakan, DM tak pernah terfikir pun nak beli diffuser yang lain. Buat apa nak membazir kan? Dewdrop diffuser ini memang dah cukup baik. Tapi tahun lepas (2017) dalam bulan December, sempena Christmas, Young Living ada membuat promosi baru dengan memperkenalkan Desert Mist Diffuser.

DM pada mulanya memang tiada niat nak beli diffuser yang lain. Tetapi bila tengok Desert Mist Diffuser ini, rasa macam nak beli pula. Design desert mist diffuser ini pun sangatlah menarik perhatian DM. Kawan-kawan lain semua dah beli diffuser ini tapi memandangkan DM dah ada diffuser yang amat berguna, DM tak beli lah semasa promosi Christmas yang lalu. Tak lama selepas promosi tu bermula, Desert Mist ini telahpun SOLD OUT. Ramai yang minat dan terus beli. Bila dah tau ianya telah sold out, baru lah DM rasa nak beli. Tapi malangnya dah tidak dijual kerana semuanya telah sold out. Tapi DM cuba juga dan rasa agak pelik kerana berjaya beli. Dalam hati berkata "macam mana orang lain tak dapat beli sedangkan DM masih lagi boleh beli Desert Mist diffuser ini?" Rasa bagaikan mimpi sahaja.

Malangnya bila sampai ke rumah DM, rupanya DM terbeli diffuser yang salah!!! Rupa-rupanya yang DM order ialah Ceramic Diffuser!! DM kecewa sangat sebab beli diffuser yang salah. Patutlah tak sold out pun!  DM ada cerita dengan kawan DM mengenai hal ini. Mereka gelakkan DM sebab tak beli awal-awal. Tapi mereka semua kata ceramic Diffuser ini sebenarnya sangat bagus kerana tak perlu gunakan air. Ini bermakna, kebaikkan minyak tu sangat pure. Kalau selsema, memang cepat sembuh sebab minyak yang digunakan itu tak bercampur air. Walaupun DM sedih, tapi DM rasa OK lah, asalkan berguna juga.

Tapi, ada sorang kawan DM tanya nak tukar tak dengan Desert Mist diffuser dia. Sebabnya dia sedang selsema dan memang nak gunakan ceramic diffuser ini supaya cepat sembuh. DM happy sangat!!! Kita buat system barter! Akhirnya DM dapat diffuser yang diimpikan. Sehingga kini, desert mist diffuser ini masih sold out. Dah lebih 3 bulan dah!

- Boleh tahan sehingga 10 jam tanpa perlu isi air dan minyak.
